Omar Mereb Ph.D.

Of Lebanese origin living in Kyiv, Omar character was shaped through four different cultures; English, Lebanese, French and Ukrainian.

I have been studying and experimenting in electronic circuits since I was 12 years old and successfully built my first shortwave radio transceiver and antenna from scratch by the age of 14 and had my voice get to almost all over the globe on the upper side band “USB modulation”. My love and passion for electronic circuits led me to learn all the basics about electronic components such as transistor, capacitor, coil, resistors etc. and all the basic circuits such as oscillators, amplifiers, mixers, modulators, transmitters, receivers and antenna as well as audio and video circuit.

Having had a firm grip about the amazing science of electronics at an early age of a high school student made me hundred percent sure that the faculty of electronic and computer engineering would be my arena after my high school. My electronic lab has been part of my day to day life and always had some electronic components laying around on my desk to experiment with, a simple scientific calculator, soldering iron with some solder and a simple analog millimeter.
